Have you ever encountered moments in your life where a situation arises and causes you to think “what a coincidence”?
When I started my recovery journey I would hear the phrase “God shot” in reference to these coincidences. I naturally had skepticism towards the belief that God or the Universe were the ones creating these moments. Moments that I had believed my whole life were truly just coincidences.
It became part of the process of learning to have faith and grow spiritually. As these “coincidences” began occurring more frequently in my life, they turned into God shots; a synchronicity presenting itself from the Universe. They became undeniably more than just a random coincidence. I began to see the more I was in flow with my authentic self, on the path to growth and healing, the more these synchronicities would appear.
As Carl Jung says, “Synchronicity is an ever present reality for those who have eyes to see.” We all have the ability to witness these beautiful synchronicities in life, if we choose the right lens to see them. If we remain open and willing, the Universe will present these moments to encourage us to stay on our current path.
These are gentle reminders that the Universe is much bigger and more profound than we are individually. We are all One and connected. Once we accept this, we open ourselves to the infinite flow of the Universe.
